The economic crisis evolution will kill many

The recent market plunge and the economic crisis is almost like “evolution” and the emergence of a higher breed. Every once in a while an Ice Age comes along and only the lean and the mean will survive this - the Government may step in like the enviromentalist and try to bail out the dinosaurs - But I have respect only for companies who can survive on their own with quick and good decisions.

Iphone Vs Anything

I recently bought an Iphone and this phone is something you need to experience to be able to appreciate fully. I remember the time when I was thinking about whether to buy a blackberry or an Iphone a few months back - and back then I was a fool - I bought a blackberry and was happy in my isolated world text and email. Viewing Email and surfing the net on the opera browser seemed more than anything I could ever want.
The way the Iphone looks also kind of confused me about it’s usability. The problem was that I never quite understood the user interface until I saw a few videos on YouTube of the iphone being used.

Technology needs to be reachable

While many of us are very familiar with the latest gadgets and software - there are vast regions in the world which do not have access to these techs. To give you an idea of the scope of development of this industry let’s compare the population of the world to the population of internet users.

The population of the world according to Wikipedia is 6.72 Billion.

Mumbai - terror attack

I have been quite disturbed the last couple of days as Mumbai fought the terrorists hiding in the Taj, the Nariman House and the Oberoi/Trident. Disturbed both by the way it is so easy for these terrorists to hold a city to ransom and the possibility that this will be forgotten in a few days. All the sacrifices and tales of bravery will just become news stories that won’t be repeated in a few days.

While TechCrunch focuses on how Twitter has become such a great news source [I agree] and while probably hundreds are focused on cleaning up the rumbles - I hope that they will let some of the stains remain to remind us of our lack of maturity as a nation.

Yes - I’ll write now

Okay – I’ll give it a shot – yeah – I am still talking to myself and wondering if I should start a blog and if anyone would care – rather if I would care enough to tell the world what I think about what’s going on. I also wonder if I would be getting threat emails from facebook if I hurt mark zukenberg’s ego by posting some criticism about facebook. But then again I am not the sort of person who would badger anyone’s work – but maybe some constructive criticism won’t be so bad for them.
